ANNIET:YOGA classes are designed to mindfully incorporate all aspects of yoga & can be taken at your own pace so that they are suitable for beginners through to those who have a regular personal practice.

Hatha Yoga Class
at The Circle, Bacup
Tuesdays 6-7pm
Suitable for all.
This class is for those wanting to practice yoga in a slower more classical way with me. This class is great for those who have a regular practice but is also beginner friendly as we spend more time with each posture, as is usual in a Hatha class, thereby enabling us a bit more grace in time to become more familiar with the nuances of them.
Block booking or PAYG available

Gentle Yoga Flow Class
at The Circle, Bacup
Tuesdays 7.10-8.10pm
Suitable for beginners with some experience, or those with a regular practice. This is a fun energetic session with some posture options & variations as required. Although this session is classed as 'gentle' it is from a more dynamic style of yoga - please bear this in mind. If you have any questions about this class please get in touch.
Block booking or PAYG available.

...more than just a class...
ANNIET:YOGA runs private yoga sessions for individuals who aren't able to make it to classes or who want to learn alone or with family, please get in touch for availability.

How it all began...well, that was a very long time ago...

Annie's Yoga Journey
Let me give you a little background about how I came to yoga. My journey started a long time ago. I first came to practicing elements of yoga & meditation when I was 11 years old through martial arts. I was young, flexible & strong & I'll be honest, making 'yogic shapes' with my body wasn't hard back then, but over time & into my teens, I learnt that yoga was much more than just that, there was the breath, the intention & the mind to consider too. I soon came to understand the calming qualities & benefits that yoga, in its fuller expression, brought to my life & wanted to find out more. Those early days were what set my course for a life-long path of learning & discovery.
It's taken many years of personal yoga practice, experiencing different styles, teachers & aspects of yogic tradition for me to feel ready to take the leap to being a yoga instructor. Not because I couldn't have done it sooner, but that I am so grateful of what the years in-between have shown me, they've allowed me to arrive at what is now a more embodied, compassionate & trauma aware practice. It leaves me feeling full of gratitude to all who have had a hand in guiding my path in this ancient & yet ever evolving tradition.
I look forward to being able to share my learnings with you & to join you on your yoga journey.
